How to use prefolds - pinned or with a Snappi

Fold diaper into thirds, fanning the back out. If the diaper is too long, fold the back of the diaper down as shown in the picture before folding into thirds.

Lay Child on diaper. Pull up between legs, attach at either end with pins or attach Snappi to one side, pull across, attach, pull middle one down and attach. If needed, you can fold the front of the prefold down as well.

Secure cover. To ensure against leaks, make sure there are not edges of diaper sticking out, if there are, tuck in with finger

Lay-in method of using prefolds

Lay Cover open.

Fold prefold in thirds length wise, place in open cover.

If prefold is too long, you can fold down in back or in front. Fold in back demonstrated.

Lay baby on open diaper and cover

Fasten Velcro, make sure all pieces of diaper are under the cover

The Bikini Twist Fold

Lay child on diaper, folding back down as shown (left picture) if needed due to extra length. Fold diaper and pull up between legs as shown - Right Picture

Twist the diaper while continuing to bring it between the legs and fan the front out. The right side of the diaper in the back will fasten to the left side on the front of the diaper.

Fasten with pins or Snappi.

Secure Cover of choice, making sure all parts of diaper are under the cover.
